1981 R. Lopez de Heredia Viña Tondonia ReservaFounded in the late 1800s by D. Rafael Lpez de Heredia y Landeta, the estate is a rarity in Rioja, using only estate bottled fruit from their prized vineyards (Tondonia, Cubillo, Bosconia and Zaconia). Following a tradition, the wines are released at least 5 10 years after harvest. In average, vines are 45 years old, organically farmed, creating wines that exhibit great terroir.
